Welcome to Livonia Public Schools!

We are excited to welcome you to our district! We hope this page will provide you with all the necessary information to register your child.

How to register

1. Complete the online pre-enrollment packet. Once completed, print the forms and bring them with you to complete registration. If you do not have a computer or printer, both are available for your use at the registration site.

2. Once you have completed the packet, download and gather the REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION

3. Visit the appropriate building with the information from steps 1 and 2 to complete the registration process.

You MUST visit the appropriate building in person to complete registration. Your child will not be enrolled in LPS until all information has been provided.

SUMMER 2017 REGISTRATION INFORMATION

K-6 STUDENTS
Centralized Registration will be offered for K-6 students at the Administration building, located at 15125 Farmington Rd. Please use the back entrance.

July 10 - September 1
Monday/Thursday, 7:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Tuesday/Wednesday, 10:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

September 5-15: 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
CLOSED LABOR DAY

7-12 STUDENTS
Summer registration for students in grades 7-12 will take place at the assigned school, beginning July 10. Appointments are strongly recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.

Early Entry

For the 2017-18 school year, the entry date cut-off for a child entering kindergarten is September 1, 2017. A child who resides in the Livonia Public Schools attendance area may be enrolled in kindergarten if he/she is at least 5 years of age by September 1, 2017.

Parents of a child with a birth date after September 1, but before December 1, 2017 may request early entry for enrollment.

TRANSPORTATION INFORMATION
Bus route information for eligible students will be posted in Parent Connect for students in grades K-12. For students in the following programs, parents must submit the form via the link below, to request transportation. 
  • In grades 9-12 (including CAPA and MSC) and eligible for bus service next school year.
  • Students who will be in the ACAT (Alternative Classrooms for Academically Talented) program at Webster next school year.
  • Students who will be in the MACAT (Middle School Alternative Classrooms for Academically Talented) at Frost next school year.

Please CLICK HERE to indicate whether you plan to utilize Livonia Public Schools bus transportation service next school year. 

If we do not receive your submitted form, we will assume you do not require transportation for your student next school year. If you are not certain if your student qualifies for bus service, please call (734) 744-2517 or email lpsbus@livoniapublicschools.org.

Elementary students who live further than 1 mile from the school and across busy roads are eligible for bus service. Middle school and high school students who live further than 1.5 miles from the school are eligible for bus service.
